Code of Conduct for Students

  1. Every student must carry their identity card. If any student is found without an identity card by any teacher or office staff, it will be considered a breach of discipline.

  2. Attendance of at least 75% in the academic year is mandatory for appearing in the annual examination.

  3. Students must attend every class regularly and punctually.

  4. Students must not loiter or make noise in the corridors during class hours.

  5. No student should move or remove chairs, tables, or other furniture from their place or from classrooms.

  6. Students should study seriously in the library.

  7. Students must not meet or talk to teachers during lecture hours without prior permission.

  8. Speaking loudly, creating groups, making unnecessary noise, or disturbing peace in the college premises is an offense. Students indulging in such activities will be strictly punished.

  9. Consumption of intoxicants, smoking, or use of substances like tobacco, gutkha, cigarettes, etc., in the college premises is strictly prohibited.

  10. Teasing or bullying others is a punishable offense. Students caught doing so will face disciplinary action.

  11. Students must maintain cleanliness and discipline in the classroom. Any indiscipline or negligence will be treated seriously.

  12. Students should attend all college functions, programs, and activities punctually. Attendance at such events is compulsory.

  13. Cheating, copying, or helping others to copy in examinations is strictly prohibited. If caught, strict disciplinary action will be taken.

  14. Students should not gather in groups in front of classrooms, in the corridors, or near the staffroom.

  15. Students should not bring any external political, social, or other influence into the college.

  16. Students should follow all rules and instructions issued by the institution from time to time.

  17. Wearing decent and simple dress is mandatory. Wearing indecent or objectionable clothes is prohibited.

  18. Any student found violating the above rules will be subject to disciplinary action.

  19. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited. Students involved in ragging will face serious punishment as per UGC regulations under section 26(1)(g) and the Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act, 1999.


Note:
Ragging is a punishable crime.
All students must follow the discipline rules of the college; violation will lead to strict disciplinary and legal action.
